Work Experience
By trade, I consider myself a dynamic learning professional with over ten years of experience applying instructional design strategies to designing innovative instruction that aligns with client goals. As an instructional designer, multimedia developer, and project manager, I have expertise in designing classroom and computer-based training and materials, from defining needs to evaluation. I also possess video, programming, and Website production skills. I have consulted for various Fortune 500 companies leveraging existing e-learning and other instructional tools and software to create innovative, interactive online learning experiences. Previously, I worked at American Express, Thomson NETg, Michaels & Associates, and Intel, where I was responsible for designing curriculum for delivery using simulation training, web-based instruction, and e-learning. Some of my most recent accomplishments include fulfilling the lead role on the ASTD CPLP Certification re-design project. I was the instructional designer responsible for designing and developing the training materials for the ASTD preparatory workshop and study seminars. At the conclusion of the project, I facilitated the seminars to esteemed audiences such as Booze Allen Hamilton.
